Tomorrow, the 27th of September, is World Tourism Day and the Federal Government of Nigeria has lined-up some programs and activities to herald the observance of the Tourism Day in Abuja Nigeria. This year’s theme is “Tourism & Green Investments”. Today, the 26th of September, there would be a Tourism Day public awareness and sensitization walk. The Walk will commence this morning, at 9am, from the Old Parade Ground to Area 1 Roundabout and back. Participants in the Awareness Walk are Federal civil servants from the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory, the Ministry of Tourism, Nigerian Tourism Development Authority and the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism. Tomorrow, the World Tourism Day, there will be a conference at the International Conference Centre Abuja, Executive Hall. Accordingly, Nigerian tourism stakeholders, business operators, Tourism management students, enthusiasts and members of the public are hereby invited to join the Federal Government of Nigeria in observing World Tourism Day 2023.
